Today, the Jastar Capital portfolio spans flagship London aparthotels and landmark development sites, two celebrated Hampshire hotels, a Grade I listed City of London riverside building with planning consent secured, and a dedicated bloodstock investment platform through Laili Bloodstock. Hotels · Aparthotels
Our primary investment vertical. We own, operate, and reposition heritage hotels and branded aparthotels across London and the south of England. Our hospitality assets are characterised by architectural distinction, strong location credentials, and premium positioning — from Grade II listed city-centre hotels to landmark riverside conversions.
Mixed-use · Heritage Repositioning
We pursue complex development opportunities in London where heritage constraints, planning complexity, and asset significance combine to create barriers to entry. Our pipeline includes the transformation of the Grade I listed Custom House on the City of London's north bank and the major mixed-use St. Martins Development in Bloomsbury, a £242m consent secured with ORMS Architects.
Selective Highlights
Residential forms a selective component of our broader portfolio, typically arising as part of mixed-use repositioning schemes or through the premium residential component of larger hospitality-led developments. Native King's Wardrobe in the City of London — a Grade II listed conversion of 102 high-specification apartments — is a representative example of our residential capability and ambition.
Laili Bloodstock
A dedicated investment platform under the Laili Bloodstock banner, encompassing the selection, training, trading, and breeding of thoroughbreds. Bloodstock represents an extension of the Jastar Capital philosophy into a distinct but complementary asset class — one requiring deep expertise, long time horizons, and careful stewardship. Laili Bloodstock operates independently with its own specialist management team.
